Requirements
• Interest in healthcare data and curiosity about how data moves through pipelines and platforms. • Ability to write SQL queries for analysis, profiling, validation, and basic performance tuning. • Analytical, problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn new tools/approaches. • Clear communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Strong organization skills and comfort juggling multiple tasks/priorities. • What we would like to see, but not required • Exposure to cloud platforms and modern data engineering tooling (e.g., PySpark/Databricks concepts). • Familiarity with Snowflake or cloud data warehouses/services. • Prior internship/project experience working with large datasets, ETL/ELT, or data quality testing concepts. • Compensation: Compensation for this role is $30/hour or $62,400 per annum.
Responsibilities
• Lead architecture, design, and implementation of AI/ML systems from concept to production • Define technical standards, best practices, and AI engineering patterns across teams • Translate complex business problems into scalable AI solutions • Guide model development, evaluation, deployment, and lifecycle management • Partner with Product and Engineering leaders on AI strategy and roadmap • Mentor senior and junior engineers; raise overall technical maturity • Ensure responsible AI practices, security, privacy, and compliance • Evaluate emerging technologies and drive innovation initiatives
