Requirements
• 4–8 years working in developer evangelism, DevRel, or developer-facing content at early or growth-stage startups • A public body of work you can share right now: YouTube, X/Twitter, Substack, GitHub, or some combination, with a developer audience • Technical fluency — enough to build with APIs, debug a webhook, and explain how a voice agent stack fits together. You don't need to be a senior engineer, but you need to be able to build • Equally comfortable on camera and on stage • Based in the SF Bay Area • Authorized to work in the US — no visa sponsorship available • Key Success Drivers • Key Success Drivers • You publish consistently — a regular, living body of work • You publish consistently • You have a point of view — strong opinions about voice AI and dev tools, shared publicly • You operate without a playbook — you can walk in and tell the team how you'd make this company unmissable to developers • You operate without a playbook • You bring founder energy — you prioritize ruthlessly, move fast, and ship
Responsibilities
• Define and execute the developer community strategy — start from scratch, replace what isn't working with something developers actually want to be part of • Create original video content: tutorials, demos, builds, hot takes — on the platforms where voice AI developers actually spend time • Show up at hackathons, meetups, and conferences as the face of the company in developer conversations • Build reference apps, open-source tools, and demos in public — the kind of work that gets shared • Write content that engineers actually want to read, on the company blog and your own channels • Surface developer feedback directly to the product and engineering teams • Develop a 6-month strategy for events, talks, and partnerships — then execute it • Propose your own cadence. No one will hand you a schedule
Benefits

The company is scaling fast and the developer audience hasn't been fully unlocked yet • Timing: • Culture: ~40-person team that values craft over hype, moves with autonomy, and doesn't hide behind process • Culture: • Interviewing Process • Initial Screen with the VP of Marketing • Sync with the Developer Evangelist • Take-Home Exercise (no more than 1 hour) + Take-Home Review • In-person interview with the Founder/CEO
