kpler - Senior Tanker Research Analyst

• At least 5 years’ experience in analysing liquid tanker freight markets • A good understanding of global commodity trade flows, freight arbitrage calculations, key commercial players and fundamental supply and demand drivers for freight markets. • Strong track record of producing insightful written analysis • You are skilled at carrying out complex analysis across multiple datasets using appropriate tools • Fluent in English and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills • High competency in using Excel • Previous experience using Kpler data or other cargo tracking tools • Experience of using SQL, Python, R or Tableau is beneficial • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously • Comfortable with establishing new processes and workflows • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders • Excel in collaborative team environments while taking full ownership of deliverables • Behavioural Competencies: • Able to work under time pressure • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or quantitative field, with proven experience applying modeling techniques in commercial or research environments • We are a dynamic company dedicated to nurturing connections and innovating solutions to tackle market challenges head-on.
