• Oversee the engineering team's day-to-day activities and ensure alignment with company goals. • Develop strategies to improve productivity and efficiency within the Engineering & Infra department. • Lead by example in fostering a positive work environment that encourages innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning among engineers. • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively while maintaining high standards of quality for all engineering outputs. • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration between products/services across the organization. • Provide guidance on technical best practices and stay abreast of industry trends relevant to our projects. • Represent Mistral AI in external engagements, such as conferences or partnerships that benefit both parties involved. • Monitor team performance through regular check-ins with individual engineers, providing constructive feedback for improvement while recognizing and celebrating achievements. • Facilitate professional development opportunities within the organization to enhance skills relevant to our engineering needs. • Participate in strategic planning sessions at Mistral AI's headquarters or other company locations as needed. • Actively seek feedback from team members, stakeholders, and clients on products/services developed by engineers under your supervision for continuous improvement purposes.
