Requirements

Responsibilities
• Client Service & Technical Leadership • Serve as a trusted advisor to middle‑market and emerging growth companies, including complex C‑Corporations and consolidated groups • Lead and review federal, state, and local corporate income tax compliance (Forms 1120, 1120S where applicable, multistate filings) • Research and interpret complex tax issues and clearly communicate conclusions to clients and internal stakeholders • Provide technical leadership on complex tax matters, including: • ASC 740 (income tax provision and review) • Accounting method changes • NOLs, credits, and incentives • M&A transactions, restructurings, and entity planning • Leadership & Team Development • Manage, mentor, and develop Managers, Supervisors, and staff, fostering technical excellence and career growth • Review work products to ensure quality, accuracy, and adherence to firm standards • Support staffing, workload planning, and performance management efforts • Practice Growth & Collaboration • Partner with tax and advisory leadership to support business development initiatives and expand client relationships • Identify opportunities for additional services and collaborate with other BPM practice groups (Advisory, Assurance, Specialty Tax) • Contribute to thought leadership, internal training, and best‑practice development within the Corporate Tax group
