Requirements
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, or a related technical field (Master’s preferred). • Experience: 15+ years of experience in environmental consulting or program management, with a proven track record of managing federal contracts. • Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of environmental compliance, site characterization, and remediation strategies specific to the Pacific and Alaska regions. • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to manage remote or geographically dispersed teams and lead multidisciplinary technical groups. • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience in public speaking and tribal engagement. • Preferred Skils • Professional certification (PMP, PE, or PG). • Experience with Military Munitions Response Programs (MMRP) or renewable energy planning. • Familiarity with Digital Solutions and GIS applications in environmental planning.
Responsibilities
• Operational Leadership: Drive the successful delivery of complex environmental programs, including PFAS-contaminated site management, natural resources management, abandoned mine lands, and ecological restoration. • Portfolio Management: Oversee project lifecycles from inception through completion, ensuring adherence to budgets, schedules, and regulatory requirements (CERCLA, RCRA, NEPA). • Team Development: Lead and mentor an interdisciplinary team of specialists, including geologists, biologists, archaeologists, and engineers. • Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for federal agencies (DoD and civilian), local governments, and Tribal Nations. Facilitate tribal liaison services and public involvement initiatives. • Strategic Growth: Support business development efforts by identifying new opportunities in the Pacific and Alaska markets, contributing to proposal development, and maintaining strong client relationships. • Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain rigorous technical standards to ensure all deliverables meet company and client expectations for excellence and accuracy.
