Requirements

• Proven history of HIL development. • Expertise in National Instruments, Speed Goat, dSPACE or equivalent systems. • Expertise in test design and development. • Good understanding of electronics design. • Good knowledge Python, possibly C/C++. • Knowledge of Simulink / MATLAB. • 5+ years of experience in HIL development and testing. • Knowledge of ECSS standards. • Worked with high-voltage systems. • Worked with real-time systems. • Worked with power electronics.

Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for, and take ownership of, the full life-cycle of the hardware test systems, including: specification, design, procurement, construction, software development, integration and maintenance of Hardware-In-Loop testing of our electronic control systems for the AURA gridded-ion thruster, with the aim of testing both the hardware and its embedded software. • You will be working cross-functionally with the electronics, control, software and satellite teams. • Specify, design and build a HIL system for testing the AURA thruster electronics. • Specify, design and develop the software and scripts to test the hardware. • Develop an electronic thruster simulator in collaboration with the software and control teams.
