Requirements
• 2+ years of experience implementing one or more of the following technologies: • Video Surveillance • Intrusion Detection • IT Infrastructure • Experience configuring and commissioning enterprise physical security systems. • Working knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, switches, VLANs, and IP-based devices. • Familiarity with a variety of physical security manufacturers and platforms. • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. • Ability to interpret project drawings, wiring diagrams, and system documentation. • Excellent communication and customer service skills. • Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision. • Self-motivated and effective in both field and remote work environments. • Willingness to travel to customer sites as required. • PHYSICAL DEMANDS: • PHYSICAL DEMANDS • Regular use of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment. • Regular, repetitive movements such as typing, mouse movements, and scrolling. Ability to hear and understand spoken communications, both in person and via remote communication tools (e.g., phone, video conferencing). • Ability to see and read computer screens and printed documents, as well as adjust focus. This role ensures that access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and related systems are installed, programmed, integrated, and operating according to approved project specifications. The Physical Security Engineer works closely with Project Managers, Solutions Engineers, Operations, and customers to deliver successful project outcomes while maintaining quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
