• 6+ years of professional software development experience • Proven track record of designing and delivering complex software systems at scale. • Strong experience in backend/API development in Python, Java or PHP. • Strong understanding of database design and RDBMS such as MySQL or similar. • Proficient in using and designing scalable RESTful APIs. • Mentorship to other engineers through coaching, design, and code reviews. • Exposure to AI technologies, particularly around Agents and LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, Claude, etc.), embeddings, or natural language processing. While deep ML expertise is not required, familiarity with integrating or working with modern AI APIs is highly valuable. • Comfortable guiding technical design discussions and facilitating technical decision making. • A growing passion for driving processes and improving software development productivity for your team. • Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and integrating with third-party systems. • Experience in frontend development, with a solid understanding of React and JavaScript. • Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and core services (e.g., EC2, RDS, S3, VPC, ECS/Fargate, and Lambda) to build, deploy, and scale resilient cloud-native applications. • Experience in the following is a plus: Typescript, Cypress, Elasticsearch, Prior work in building or integrating intelligent features, such as semantic search, RAG and integration with third-party apps. • Experience in frontend development, with a solid understanding of React and JavaScript • ⚒️ Loopio Engineering Technology Stack: • Elasticsearch • Amazon Webservices • WHERE YOU’LL WORK 📍 • This is a remote-first opportunity with the advantages of working flexibly across India. • We are HQ’d in Canada, with established hub regions around the world where we hire from.
