Requirements
• Extensive experience building and maintain AI platform infrastructure, Kubernetes, and container security. • Demonstrated expertise in observability, and monitoring frameworks, with a focus on real-time performance (i.e: experience with OpenTelemetry, MLFlow). • Experience with AI infrastructure components such as vector databases, prompt/versioning stores, and AI IDEs. • Familiarity with vLLM, SGLang or similar framework to host LLM inference workloads. • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation for AI model deployment and platform operations • Strong knowledge of authentication and authorization frameworks integrated into AI platforms. • $169,000 - $188,000 a year • At PointClickCare, base salary is one of the many components that make up our total rewards package. The CAD base salary range for this position is $169,000-188,000 (not overtime eligible) + bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by job and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target for new hire salaries for the position across all CAD locations. Within the range, individual compensation is determined by job-related skills and knowledge, relevant experience including professional and lived experience, and/or work location. Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain AI platforms to support various business processes within PointClickCare's operations. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements for new AI solutions and integrate them into existing systems. • Design, implement, test, deploy, monitor, optimize, troubleshoot, document, and maintain the company’s core artificial intelligence (AI) platforms across all business units of PointClickCare. This includes but is not limited to: 1) Customer Service AI Chatbots; 2) Predictive Analytics for customer behavior forecasting; 3) Personalized Recommendation Engines; and, if applicable, other internal tools that leverage machine learning (ML), deep learning (DL), natural language processing (NLP), computer vision or robotics. • Develop AI solutions to improve the efficiency of business processes within PointClickCare's operations by automating manual tasks where possible while ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations and company policies, including GDPR for European customers if applicable. This includes but is not limited to: 1) Automated customer service chatbots; 2) Predictive analytics tools that forecast business trends based on historical data analysis; 3) Personalized recommendation engines tailored towards individual user preferences and behaviors, etc.; • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements for new AI solutions. This includes but is not limited to: understanding the specific needs of different departments within PointClickCare (e.g., customer service, marketing) in terms of data inputs required by an AI solution and how that input will be used; identifying potential challenges or limitations associated with implementing a new AI tool into existing systems at PointClickCare; developing strategies to overcome these barriers while ensuring the seamless integration of the new technology. • Design, implement, test, deploy, monitor, optimize, troubleshoot, document and maintain company’s core artificial intelligence (AI) platforms across all business units within PointClickCare's operations as needed by management or other stakeholders; this includes but is not limited to: 1) Customer Service AI Chatbots that provide real-time assistance for customers seeking help with their inquiries, requests and concerns related directly tied into specific products/services offered through PointClickCare's platform(s); 2) Predictive Analytics tools used by marketing teams to forecast customer behavior based on historical data analysis; personalized recommendation engines tailored towards individual user preferences & behaviors that drive sales growth within each business unit at PointClickCare. • Collaborate with cross-functional team members, including but not limited to: software engineers who develop AI algorithms and models used in various applications across different
