Requirements

• You have a strong aesthetic sense — you know what looks good and why it works on each platform. • You're connected to UK diaspora communities and understand the cultural nuances that make content resonate versus fall flat. • You spot trends before they become mainstream and know how to act on them quickly. • You build genuine relationships — with audiences, with creators, and with collaborators. • You're proactive: you identify opportunities and act on them without waiting to be told. • You're a storyteller who understands that the best content doesn't feel like marketing. • 3-5+ years of social media experience, ideally at a brand with a multicultural or diaspora-facing audience. • Strong content creation skills — especially video — and a portfolio that demonstrates cultural relevance and creative instinct. • Deep understanding of UK diaspora communities and how they engage with brands on social media. • Hands-on experience across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and X. • Experience managing influencer and content creator relationships. • Strong written communication and community management skills. • Comfortable directing shoots and working with external creative talent. • Experience working with multicultural brands or community organisations. • Video editing skills — CapCut, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar. • Additional language skills relevant to UK diaspora communities.
