Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and grow multiple software engineering teams and managers. • Drive organizational efficiency and scalability through process improvement and adoption of modern development practices. • Organize, prioritize, and strategically plan for the delivery of large-scale, mission-critical projects on time and within scope. • Define and communicate roadmaps that align with company strategy to establish transparency. • Partner with senior executives, product leaders, and stakeholders to drive innovation, execution, and continuous improvement. • Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and the competitive landscape to guide long-term engineering strategy. • Cultivate and implement Bugcrowd's engineering culture and best practices within the India office. • Drive talent acquisition through both industry recruitment and university partnerships. • Serve as the primary engineering representative for the India site in all global leadership forums. • Develop relationships within the local technology ecosystem to establish and promote Bugcrowd's engineering brand in India. • People Manager Responsibility • Scale the India engineering organization to over 30 individuals within the first year. • Participate in full cycle employee development from supporting the recruiting process to providing career development, coaching and performance management. • Collaborate with and mentor engineering managers, team leads, and future leaders. • Manage budgets, headcount planning, and resource allocation for engineering functions. • Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities • 12–15+ years of software engineering experience, with 5–7+ years in engineering leadership roles. • 12–15+ years • 5–7+ years in engineering leadership roles • Expert level software engineering and coding skills to build enterprise security products. • Deep knowledge of agile methodologies, software delivery processes, and DevOps practices. • Strong ability to align engineering execution with business outcomes and expertly communicate it to stakeholders both executive and technical. • Demonstrated success in hiring great people, scaling teams, improving delivery speed, elevating product quality and driving cultural change. • Track record of managing large, distributed, or global engineering organizations in high-growth, enterprise, or large-scale product environments. • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
