ShopBack - Senior / Software Engineer - Backend (1529)

• Develop and maintain backend systems to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of the application under various loads. • Design database schemas that efficiently store data while ensuring security and integrity. • Implement robust error handling mechanisms within applications to enhance user experience by minimizing downtime or errors during system failures. • Optimize code for better efficiency, maintainability, and readability without compromising on functionality. • Collaborate with frontend teams to ensure seamless integration of backend services into the overall application architecture. • Monitor server health using tools like Nagios/Zabbix or Prometheus; perform regular system maintenance tasks such as updating software packages and applying patches when necessary. • Write unit tests, functional tests, and end-to-end tests to ensure code quality and reliability before deployment into production environments. • Participate in the development of API documentation for internal use by other teams within ShopBack or external clients using tools like Swagger/OpenAPI Specification (OAS). • Contribute to technical blogs, whitepapers, webinars, etc., sharing knowledge and best practices related to backend engineering.
