Requirements
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, with solid experience in Node.js • Experience working with relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB) • Understanding of API development and integration principles • Knowledge of software testing principles and experience with testing frameworks such as Jest • Familiarity with microservices architecture is a plus • A relevant degree (Computer Science, Engineering, or similar) or equivalent practical/bootcamp experience • Experience working on payment systems or financial platforms • Exposure to scalable, distributed systems • Interest in improving performance, security, and system resilience
Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain web applications using a full stack approach with technologies such as HTML5/CSS3, JavaScript frameworks like ReactJS, Node.js for backend development, MongoDB for database management, etc. • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. • Design scalable solutions that meet the needs of our growing user base while ensuring optimal performance and security standards are met. • Implement best practices in code quality assurance by writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code with proper documentation for future reference or team collaboration. • Troubleshoot issues related to application functionality, database connectivity, server configurations, etc., using a systematic approach to identify root causes and implement effective solutions promptly. • Stay updated on emerging technologies in the industry relevant to full stack development and actively seek opportunities for professional growth through continuous learning and skill enhancement initiatives offered by Smart Working Solutions or external resources.
