Responsibilities
• Set direction for critical dev infrastructure, enabling us to stay ahead of continued rapid growth • Design and build CI and build systems that ensure Vanta engineers can develop and ship robust products quickly and confidently • Improve the efficiency and reliability of our deployment workflows, including tools for hotfixes, rollbacks, and incident mitigation • Lead development of tools that accelerate feedback loops — from typechecking and linting to running tests and deploying changes • Build and maintain scalable development environments, test infrastructure, and core dev tooling • Introduce and scale AI-enhanced developer tools that help engineers move faster, write better code, and reduce toil • Work with talented and kind engineers to make a significant impact on our customer base, enabling them to improve their security and prove it • Contribute to building Vanta’s engineering culture as we grow • You’ve played technical leadership roles on DevEx or platform teams • You have experience with build systems, CI/CD, and scaling developer workflows in fast-growing environments • You care deeply about performance, reliability, and usability, especially in tools used daily by engineers • You’re thoughtful about trade-offs and have good product sense when building internal tools • What you can expect as a Vanta'n: • Industry-Competitive Salary and Equity • 100% covered Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits with Dependents Coverage • 16 Weeks Fully Paid Parental Leave for All New Parents (Moms, Dads, Adoptive, Foster) • Health & Wellness Stipend • Remote Workspace Stipend • 401(k) Matching Plan • Flexible Work Hours and Location • Open & Encouraged PTO Policy • 11 Company Paid Holidays • Free Memberships to Online Wellness Platforms (One Medical, Ginger, Headspace, and more!) • Virtual Team Building Activities, Lunch and Learns, and other Company-Wide Events • Offices in SF and NYC with Hubs of Vantans forming across the US, including but not limited to, Seattle, Austin, Indianapolis, LA, Boston, and more!
