Requirements

• You know the best talent isn't just browsing LinkedIn looking for a job. You go out and find them, and you know how to make them want to learn more. • You think creatively about where to find talent that others miss. You're not running the same playbook as every other recruiter hitting the same LinkedIn profiles. You find angles through communities, networks, niche channels, and warm intros, and you build pipelines out of them. Creativity is core to how you work, not a nice-to-have. • You're also a strong writer and storyteller. You understand that the best candidates have options, and a generic outreach message gets ignored. You craft messages that are specific, thoughtful, and compelling. Ones that make someone feel like Vesta was written for the next chapter of their career. You know how to articulate what makes Vesta special and why now is the right moment to join. • You're highly proficient with modern sourcing tools and AI-native in how you use them. You use Claude, ChatGPT, and purpose-built recruiting AI not because it's trendy, but because they genuinely make you better. Sharper outreach, faster research, better signal. You're constantly finding new ways to automate the repetitive work so you can focus on the high-judgment calls. • You're comfortable running high volume. You can carry a meaningful req load, keep multiple pipelines healthy at once, and still bring the same level of intentionality to every candidate you touch. You've built habits and systems that let you move fast without losing quality. • And you hold the bar. You'd rather keep a req open than move the wrong person forward. • 2+ years of technical sourcing experience, ideally at a high-growth tech company • A track record of creative, proactive sourcing. You can talk about specific channels or approaches that worked and why. • Proven ability to carry high req volume while maintaining pipeline quality and candidate experience • Exceptional written communication. Your outreach is specific, tight, and compelling. • Highly proficient with modern sourcing tools and an active daily user of AI in your workflow • High personal bar for quality in your work and in who you move through the funnel • Comfortable with autonomy and operating in ambiguity

Responsibilities

• Go well beyond LinkedIn to build pipelines through GitHub, technical communities, niche forums, referral networks, and channels others aren't working. Bring a fresh angle to every req and keep finding new ones. • Craft outreach messages that are specific, human, and tailored. The goal is to make every candidate feel like you found them for a reason and that Vesta is worth a conversation. • Be the first voice many candidates hear. Understand what we're building, why it matters, and why now is the right time to join well enough to make someone genuinely excited about it. • Carry a meaningful req load and keep pipelines moving across multiple roles simultaneously, using strong organizational systems to stay on top of it all. • Use tools like Claude and purpose-built recruiting AI to personalize outreach at scale, accelerate research, and cut time-to-pipeline. Actively experiment and raise your own bar here. • Partner closely with hiring managers to deeply understand what "great" looks like for each role and never compromise on it. • Track sourcing channel performance, outreach conversion, and pipeline health. Let the data inform where you invest your time.
