Requirements
• Experience: Significant experience (typically 2–5 years) developing software features for business or technology solutions. • Java Proficiency: Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot in a microservices environment. • Java Proficiency: • Cloud Foundation: Solid understanding of AWS (S3, Lambda, EC2) and containerization (Docker). • Cloud Foundation: • Tech Required: Java, Spring Boot, MySQL, Git, and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines. • Tech Preferred: Experience with message brokers (RabbitMQ/SQS), Kubernetes (EKS), Docker, and SQL optimization. • Tech Preferred: • AI Native: Demonstrated ability to use LLMs and AI coding assistants to accelerate your development lifecycle. • AI Native: • Mindset: A results-oriented drive to meet high standards and a "persistent/tenacious" approach to solving technical hurdles. • Mindset: • Soft Skills: Strong communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences (from junior devs to senior leadership). Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. • Experience in Ad-Tech or high-throughput "Big Data" processing environments.
Responsibilities
• Those local or living in surrounding areas to one of our offices (Bellevue, WA or New York, NY) will work a hybrid schedule, coming into their local office 1-3 days a week. While those in a role, not office-based and located further away from our offices, will work a fully remote schedule. The cash compensation above includes base salary, variable commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, all full time iSpotters are eligible to participate in iSpot’s equity plan to receive stock options. Non-exempt roles will also be eligible for (pre-approved) overtime pay.
