Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, or a related discipline. Advanced degrees are an asset. • 5+ years of profitable sports prediction trading experience on a leading trading desk in a bank, proprietary trading firm, or market-making shop. • Demonstrated experience in successfully building and managing trades. • Familiarity with Python and a keen interest in expanding your technical skillset. • Strong critical thinking skills and a commitment to continuous improvement. • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, with strong attention to detail. • Adaptive, self-motivated, enjoy challenges and responsibility, and thrive in fast-paced, competitive environments. • Experience with prediction market platforms, sports betting exchanges, or similar financial environments. • Ability to work effectively under pressure and in dynamic, fast-paced environments. • Typical Day-to-Day Activities • Monitor 24/7 market activity and update trading models with the latest data in collaboration with the team. • Conduct pre-market and post-market analyses of upcoming sporting events, identifying key opportunities and risks. • Place trades across multiple markets, responding to changes in live odds, news reports, and betting flows. • Communicate with team members to discuss strategies, notable events, and market shifts. • Monitor active positions, adjust orders, and hedge exposures throughout the day. • Analyze trade outcomes and refine predictive models for future events. • Prepare end-of-day summaries, performance reviews, and compliance reports.
Responsibilities

This role is full-time with remote work options available as needed for specific projects or events that require onsite presence during major sporting occasions such as football finals and tennis Grand Slams. • Develop proprietary trading strategies tailored to the Sports Event Market Making division by analyzing market data, employing quantitative models, and utilizing artificial intelligence tools provided by Crypto.com for enhanced decision making in high frequency sports event markets. This includes creating algorithms that can execute trades efficiently during peak times of sporting events when volatility is at its highest. • Monitor the Sports Event Market Making division's performance, assess risk exposure and manage positions actively to ensure alignment with Crypto.com’s trading objectives while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards in London, United Kingdom financial markets. This involves regular reporting on market conditions, strategy effectiveness, position sizing, and potential risks associated with the Sports Event Market Making division's activities. • Collaborate closely with senior quantitative analysts to refine trading strategies based on backtesting results, real-time data analysis, and continuous improvement of algorithms for sports event market making within Crypto.com’s Quant Front Office environment in London, United Kingdom.
