Responsibilities
• Developing software solutions for the Agent Platform at LiveKit. • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize technical requirements based on business needs. • Designing, implementing, testing, integrating, documenting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and deploying high-quality code in a scalable manner for the Agent Platform at LiveKit. • Working closely with product managers and other stakeholders to understand their vision and translate it into technical specifications that can be implemented by development teams. • Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code using industry best practices while adhering to coding standards established within LiveKit's engineering team. • Participating in code reviews with peers to ensure high quality of the software being developed for the Agent Platform at LiveKit. • Monitoring system performance and identifying bottlenecks or issues that may impact user experience, then working on optimizing solutions as needed within the scope of work assigned by team leads. • Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies relevant to software development for AI tools in order to recommend enhancements or identify potential areas where LiveKit can improve its Agent Platform at LiveKit. • Providing technical leadership and mentorship within the engineering department, guiding junior engineers through complex projects related to the Agent Platform at LiveKit while fostering a collaborative team environment that encourages knowledge sharing and professional growth among peers.
