Picus - Senior Solutions Architect (Pre-Sales) East Coast

• To design and develop solutions that meet client needs within the scope of work provided in job descriptions for similar roles at Picus East Coast. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications, ensuring alignment between IT architecture and organizational goals. • Provide guidance on best practices for system design, security measures, performance optimization, scalability considerations, and compliance standards relevant to the industry in which Picus operates. • Engage with clients through regular meetings or calls to discuss their business needs, understand project objectives, gather feedback, and ensure alignment between proposed solutions and client expectations. • Develop detailed technical documentation for each solution design that includes system architecture diagrams, network topology maps, database schemas, data flow charts, user interface mockups, API specifications, etc., to facilitate effective communication with stakeholders across different departments within the organization or external partners. • Participate in regular strategy meetings and workshops as part of a senior leadership team responsible for driving business growth through innovative technology solutions that support organizational goals while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, retention rates, revenue generation potentials etc., by leveraging industry trends such as cloud computing services (AWS/Azure), microservices architecture patterns or DevOps methodologies where applicable. • To provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior architects within the team on best practices for system design while ensuring adherence with organizational policies regarding data privacy, security measures etc., as well as industry standards such as ISO 27001 certification requirements if relevant in this role's scope of work. • To stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends within the IT landscape by attending conferences/seminars regularly or participating actively on professional networking platforms like LinkedIn; maintaining a proactive approach towards continuous learning will be essential for delivering high quality solutions that meet client needs while keeping pace with industry developments. • To manage project timelines effectively using tools such as Gantt charts, Kanban boards etc., ensuring projects are completed within agreed deadlines without compromising on the quality of work delivered; this includes monitoring progress regularly through status reports or dashboards provided by IT management systems like Jira/Trello. • To maintain effective communication with clients and stakeholders across different departments via email correspondence, phone calls etc., ensuring transparency regarding project timelines while addressing any concerns promptly; this also involves providing regular updates on progress made towards achieving desired outcomes through weekly/monthly reports or presentations delivered during strategy meetings. • To maintain a high level of professionalism at all times by adhering to ethical standards within the industry regarding confidentiality, integrity etc
