Requirements

Responsibilities
• Responsible for reading and understanding the Systems Integration installation process. • Must understand wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints. • Must respond to all customer service-related issues promptly. • Responsible for accurate service installation tickets, and inventory items. • Achieve working knowledge of Company software and work within software systems on a day-to-day basis. • Work in a safe, positive manner showing respect to others and contributing to the team. • Fully comply with Company and customer safety programs. • Demonstrates attention to detail, accuracy, thoroughness, and dependability by following instructions and being an active listener. • Adapts well to changing circumstances or conditions in the field. • Pursues career development opportunities such as training and certification courses. • Always maintain a professional attitude and appearance. • Keeps a clean and organized work environment. • Adheres to all NEW ERA policies regarding dress code, safety, attendance, etc. • COMPETENCIES: • Prior Video Surveillance/Access Control experience • Knowledge of PC and IP integration required • Valid driver’s license • Reliable transportation • Familiarity with basic hand tools • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds • Ability to stoop, balance, stand, walk, sit and climb and/or work on a ladder and lift. • Physical Demands • Physical Demands • Ability to stand on a concrete floor for long periods. • Ability to lift and/or move equipment at least 60-pounds on a repetitive basis. • Must be able to lift equipment and construction supplies from floor height to over-head while loading/unloading trucks or preparing equipment for installations, service calls, and events. • Ability to climb and work (stack, adjust, and repair) at heights in excess of 25' before/during installations and job sites. • Ability to stand, walk, climb, sit and use hands and fingers. • Reaching, grasping and carrying activities also required. • Although most work is performed inside, occasional outside activities are subject to seasonal temperature fluctuations. • Must have a clean driving record and valid / current driver’s license. • Ability to drive a company van to client sites.
