Requirements
• Degree in a STEM field, such as Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience in the industry. • Prior experience building backend services in a professional environment. • Experience building services with Java is a must-have for the role. • Experience with SQL, Elasticsearch, AWS or JavaScript are nice-to-have. • Demonstrable knowledge of using AI in a professional engineering environment. • An understanding of development best practices and experience working in an agile team. • Interest or experience in the financial industry or wealth management in particular. • Our Values • Act Like an Owner - Think and operate with intention, purpose and care. Responsibilities
• Build and scale API services to support our rapidly growing European customer base. • Advance our financial models to support a wide range of advanced financial products, such as structured notes, derivatives, and international alternative investments. • Contribute to architecture designs, product roadmap, and code reviews. • Collaborate effectively with other engineers, product managers and stakeholders, in line with our company values outlined below. • Be part of an expanding cross-functional organization in our growing Edinburgh office.
