Responsibilities

• Contribute to role focus and impact: • This role is dedicated to a single, high-priority product — you will be fully embedded in the project and accountable for its legal delivery. • Early-stage opportunity — you will witness product ideas move from exploration to execution and will have clear opportunities to influence product decisions and strategy. • Regional, B2C focus — heavy localization requirements will deepen your understanding of APAC market dynamics and the regulatory philosophies of local authorities. • Visible outcomes — you may see the product launched and widely marketed during your tenure, creating a notable, resume-enhancing achievement. • Experience supportive team and leadership: • Work closely with Jonathan Tay, Principal Counsel & Lead Product Legal, who brings extensive in-house experience and the perspective of a former tech founder. • Learning and working in collaborative environment • Intensive onboarding and development — the role offers structured, hands-on training and a steep learning curve. • High pace and commitment — expect demanding work during the project’s critical phases; we seek candidates ready to invest in rapid growth. • Commitment to balance — we actively work toward a sustainable 40-hour work week as the project matures and support personal development and wellbeing. • What you’ll Need to Succeed • At least 5 years PQE in private practice or in-house experience • Hungry to learn — actively seeks new knowledge and adapts quickly. • Curious and confident to ask questions — clarifies assumptions and probes for missing information. • Disciplined and sensible — manages stakeholders effectively, provides constructive pushback, and escalates appropriately when needed. • Organized — strong task, time, and project management skills; maintains clear, concise documentation. • Practical common sense — applies sound judgment to balance legal risk with commercial needs.
