Responsibilities

• Lead Product Designer for Goody in Engineering department • Full time remote position with potential to work onsite at client locations within the United States and Canada • Responsible for spearheading product design initiatives from concept through prototyping, testing, and finalizing designs ready for production. ✅ This includes collaborating closely with cross-functional teams such as engineering, marketing, sales to ensure alignment of products with customer needs and business objectives. • Required to manage a team or lead product design projects independently while ensuring timely delivery within budget constraints. • Must possess strong leadership skills in guiding the direction for new designs and maintain high standards of creativity and innovation throughout all stages of development. ✅ This includes presenting ideas, conducting research on market trends to inform decisions, facilitating brainsts sessions with team members, stakeholders, or clients when necessary. • Expected to possess excellent communication skills in articulating design concepts and technical details clearly both verbally and visually across various channels such as presentations, reports, emails, meetings etc., while also being able to receive feedback constructively from peers/team members effectively ✅ This includes providing regular status updates on projects progress. • Required proficiency in using design software tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), Sketch or Figma for creating and iterating designs quickly while maintaining high quality standards throughout the process of development from initial sketches to finalized product mockups ready for production ✅ This includes being able to troubleshoot technical issues that may arise during design work. • Must have a strong understanding of user experience (UX) principles, best practices in interface and interaction design as well as knowledge about accessibility standards such as WCAG guidelines when developing products targeted towards diverse audiences ✅ This includes conducting usability testing sessions with users to gather feedback on designs. • Required proficiency in using project management tools like Trello, Asana or Jira for organizing tasks and managing timelines effectively while ensuring accountability within the team when working collaboratively towards common goals ✅ This includes setting clear expectations regarding deliverables from stakeholders/clients. • Must possess strong problem-solving skills in identifying design challenges that may arise during development process, proposing solutions and making decisions independently while considering feedback received from cross-functional teams or clients when necessary ✅ This includes being able to prioritize tasks based on urgency level of projects at hand. • Required proficiency with basic coding languages such as HTML/CSS for frontend development purposes where applicable within scope; however, this is not a primary responsibility but rather an additional skill set that could benefit the role ✅ This includes being able to troubles
