iHerb - Director of UX Design

• Use research, data, and insights to inform design decisions and continuously improve usability. • Stay ahead of industry trends, tools, and best practices to evolve iHerb’s design capabilities. • Champion accessibility and inclusivity, ensuring products are usable by customers worldwide. • Strong portfolio showcasing design leadership, strategy, and execution • Experience leading a product focused high-performance design team • Experience working with product, business stakeholders, and user researchers to drive strategy, vision, and execution • Experience managing processes and teams in an agile/scrum environment • Experience working with design systems and tools such as Figma • A user-centered design approach and highly collaborative, low-ego approach to design • Experience attracting, hiring and retaining top design talent • Equipment Knowledge: • Experience with graphic development software (Photoshop, ImageReady, Illustrator etc.) • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) • Experience with Google Business Suite (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms) preferred • Generally requires a minimum of twelve (12) years of design experience with a focus on eCommerce or related field. Five (5) plus years in a Supervisory role preferred. • Bachelor’s Degree in Art, UI/UX Design or related field required, or equivalent work experience • Judgment/Reasoning Ability:  Able to identify, troubleshoot and resolve problems quickly using sound judgment, poise and diplomacy.  Ability to use judgment and reasoning skills, and determine when to escalate issues, as required, in a timely manner. • Judgment/Reasoning Ability: • Physical Demands:  The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a Team Member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.  While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to talk and hear.
