Requirements

• Strong academic or professional background, demonstrating a high level of numeracy and sustained achievement • Proven experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll, preferably within a fast-paced, high growth environment • Familiarity with finance systems such as Tipalti, Payhawk, Sage Intacct, Pento, and Deel (advantageous but not essential) • Exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive, continuous-improvement mindset • A proactive approach, with a drive to continuously improve processes, increase efficiency, and leverage technology to automate tasks

Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable (AP) • Own the end-to-end AP process, from purchase order creation and invoice receipt through to approval and payment • Ensure timely and accurate supplier payments, resolving queries and discrepancies • Implement and maintain strong controls around vendor onboarding, purchase orders, approvals, and payment runs • Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders • Lead the end-to-end migration of the Accounts Payable platform from Tipalti to a new solution, including requirements gathering, vendor selection support, implementation, testing, and go-live • Own data migration, controls validation, and post-implementation optimisation • Accounts Receivable (AR) • Oversee billing, invoicing, and cash collection processes • Monitor aged receivables and proactively manage overdue balances • Partner with Commercial team to resolve billing issues • Drive improvements in cash flow forecasting and AR efficiency • Payroll • Own Group payroll operations end-to-end, ensuring accurate and on-time payroll delivery • Act as a point of contact with external payroll providers • Ensure compliance with tax, statutory, and reporting requirements • Act as a key partner to the People team, ensuring timely, accurate maintenance of employee data within the HRIS platform to support seamless payroll integration • Controls, Reporting & Process Improvement • Design, implement, and maintain strong financial controls across AP, AR, and payroll • Prepare and review operational finance reports and reconciliations • Support month-end close activities related to AP, AR, and payroll • Identify opportunities to automate, streamline, and scale finance operations • Document processes and continuously improve ways of working • Leadership & Stakeholder Management • Manage, coach, and develop direct reports, setting clear objectives and supporting career development • Act as a trusted finance operations partner to the wider business • Support audits and respond to internal and external queries
