Requirements
• 7+ years of experience in backend engineering with strong Python proficiency and a solid foundation in cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred). • Proven ability to lead or mentor engineers while remaining hands-on as an individual contributor in a fast-paced environment. • Practical experience integrating LLMs and AI APIs into production systems, with a pragmatic approach to building useful business tools. • Who are Jack & Jill? • Ok, I'll go first. Responsibilities
• Architect and build the core backend systems for Midnite’s internal back office platform, focusing on configuration management and operational APIs. • Manage and mentor a small team of three fullstack and backend engineers, maintaining a high bar for code quality and professional growth. • Identify and prototype AI-powered improvements such as automated documentation, RAG pipelines, and intelligent alerting to reduce operational toil.
