Jane - Senior Developer - Platform (Developer Operations)
Requirements
• Hands-on administration of developer tooling at organizational scale. A systems administrator profile with a DevOps/DevEx slant. You've owned platforms other engineers depend on, and you're comfortable running them whether they're managed SaaS or something we host ourselves. That includes practical GitHub administration: org and enterprise settings, rulesets and branch protections, GitHub Apps and integrations, Actions, SSO/SCIM and access management, secret scanning and code security, and audit logs. If you've cleaned up a large, drifted GitHub estate before, lead with that. • Hands-on administration of developer tooling at organizational scale. • Configuration as code rather than clicking through settings. Terraform, the GitHub API, and enough scripting - Bash, Python, TypeScript, or similar - to automate config, drift detection, and reporting across hundreds of repos. We need someone who defines the baseline rather than waiting to be handed one, and who's comfortable with the ambiguity that comes with that. While that is a large range, it is intentional. It reflects the full growth journey someone might take in the role, from developing skills early on to becoming highly proficient and ultimately achieving excellence. • CAD$128,000 to CAD$200,000 • Most new hires join at the accomplished stage, which for this role represents an annual salary of CAD$152,000. A starting salary below this typically indicates a candidate with strong potential who is still developing key skills.
