Requirements
• 8+ years of professional experience in solutions architecture, systems engineering, data science, or related technical roles, or equivalent experience • Experience supporting customer-facing or pre-sales technical engagements • Strong understanding of system architectures, data flows, and analytical or software-driven solutions • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences • Demonstrated experience collaborating across Sales, Product, and Engineering teams • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, data science, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience • Ability to travel up to 20–25%, or equivalent flexibility • Experience in a pre-sales engineer or solutions architect role supporting complex enterprise or government customers • Background in data analytics, modeling, or applied data science • Familiarity with space, defense, aerospace, or mission-focused technology domains • Experience supporting proposal responses, RFIs, or customer demonstrations • Comfort working in fast-paced, evolving technical and go-to-market environments • Location: Remote, US • Location:
Responsibilities
• As a Senior Solutions Architect, Data Scientist & Systems Engineer, you will serve as a key pre-sales technical partner supporting Slingshot’s government and commercial customers. You will work closely with Sales, Capture, Product, and Engineering teams to translate customer missions and technical requirements into scalable, data-driven solutions. In this role, you will combine solution architecture, applied data science, and systems engineering expertise to shape customer engagements, influence solution design, and support successful deal outcomes.
