Responsibilities
• Figure out where Close should show up and go build it. We have strong content, a loyal customer community, and basically zero distribution beyond organic search. Your job is to change that. SEO, YouTube, social, paid, partnerships, product-led loops - you'll evaluate what's worth betting on, pick the first one or two, and start building. • Use AI as your team, not your assistant. Close is lean and marketing is leaner. Your output target is what a 10-person team would ship, and the way you'll hit it is by building agent-assisted workflows for content production, distribution, paid testing, and reporting. We expect you to push the frontier of what one person with the right systems can do here. • Own top-of-funnel traffic - and care about what happens after. Your primary metric is getting more of the right people to Close's website and product. But "the right people" means people who convert to trials and eventually pay. You'll partner with the growth product team on website conversion and activation, but you own the outcome end to end. • Win paid in a market where you can't outspend anyone. You know how to find the inefficient corner of a channel, kill what's not working in week two instead of quarter two, and squeeze ROI where the big spenders are wasting it. • Build distribution partnerships. Close has a growing partner ecosystem. You'll figure out how to work with partners for content co-creation, cross-promotion, and distribution. • Work with the content team to make content a growth lever. You won't create all the content yourself, but you'll have a strong point of view on what content needs to exist to fuel your channels. You'll partner closely with the team to make sure what gets produced actually drives distribution.
