Requirements
• Minimum of 7 years of broad QA experience. • Experience as a Senior/Lead QA role holder is required. • Skills needed: testing techniques application and coaching abilities. • Ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams with developers, analytical thinking, critical problem solving skills are necessary. • Designing comprehensive test plans and automation frameworks experience should be present. • Effective organisational skills, meticulous attention to detail required for bug reporting understanding risk impacts and dependencies.
Responsibilities
• Help ensure the quality of Moneybox products. • Manage competing workstreams through effective prioritisation and time management as a sole QA on a squad. • Promote collective success in testing activities by influencing team members to adopt shared responsibility for quality. • Define testing and release strategies with stakeholders, balancing risk, speed, and quality effectively. • Run cross-functional meetings that foster positive outcomes and actions within the QA team. • Apply a risk-based approach focusing on high-value areas in test activities using AI tooling support when necessary. • Communicate issues, dependencies, and solutions to squad members and senior management for exceptional coordination and prioritisation. • Assess features for their suitability towards automation testing types and contribute collaboratively with engineers toward end-to-end automation efforts. • Collate QA metrics, perform root cause analysis, advocate continuous improvement in team processes and tooling methods. • Support the career growth of team members through mentoring, coaching, and management activities proactively. • Act as a visible guide and role model within the QA function while supporting departmental operations actively. • Represent Moneybox externally by engaging with tech community events to bring back fresh ideas for the team.
