• A Bachelors or Masters degree in a technical field or equivalent experience • Combined 5+ years in product management and engineering in a highly technical environment • A deep technical background, ability to grasp technical concepts and establish credibility with engineers • Track record of launching ambitious, highly technical products that have seen commercial success, preferably in dev tools • Hands-on experience with latest AI coding tools, model capabilities, and industry trends • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills and comfort with presenting to various audiences across seniority levels • The ability to navigate ambiguity and deliver high-quality product experiences on tight timelines and in line with our business aspirations • A bias for action - you’re not afraid to jump from writing a spec or story to talking to a customer or figuring out a new way to use AI tools to your advantage • People in this role will have a high degree of autonomy and responsibility, with frequent team-to-team communication and interaction with all levels of leadership. • Mechanical Orchard is a remote-first company, with employees working across time zones and locations. This role does not have a requirement for in-office attendance, but is expected to work hours that maximize collaboration with their team (specifics can be discussed during the interview process). There will be travel to company and team meetings, as well as customer visits (1-2 times per quarter, up to ~20% of the time).
