Requirements

• You are a high-agency operator and business builder who enjoys solving complex, ambiguous problems and turning them into action. • This is a high-impact individual contributor role reporting to the COO. You will operate at the center of the business, tackling critical operational challenges, driving strategic initiatives, and helping scale Deel globally. • You move quickly, prioritize effectively, and are comfortable owning problems end-to-end, from defining the problem to implementing the solution. • For top performers, this role provides a clear trajectory toward leading a function or business unit (GM path) as the company scales. • 5 - 10 years of experience in product, operations, revenue ops, consulting • 2 - 4 years of previous experience in a fast-growth startup • Strong analytical foundation with the ability to manipulate and synthesize data • Proficiency in data analysis and workflow automation • You're passionate about the future of work • You have a natural interest in working with AI • You have built solutions using low-code or no-code platforms • You have advanced working knowledge of SQL • You have experience building consumer/business-facing products where you have to think about customer experience and growth • You have worked in multiple countries, cultures, and places

Responsibilities

• Partner directly with the COO on high-priority operational and strategic initiatives • Drive execution of Deel’s global expansion across operations, products, and new markets • Own end-to-end delivery of critical projects — from opportunity identification to execution • Break complex problems into clear, actionable workstreams • Generate data-driven insights through analysis of large datasets • Conduct market and competitive analysis to inform business decisions • Design and implement scalable operational processes • Support strategic planning, goal setting, and performance management • Build internal tools, workflows, and systems that increase operational leverage • Navigate open-ended problems with speed, structure, and strong judgment • Can break complex problems into smaller, actionable solution steps • Quick learner with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment • Excellent written and verbal communication in English
