Responsibilities
• Collaborate with product engineering, risk operations, and other cross-functional teams to build and ship products. • Have ownership across a large breadth of surfaces - frontend systems, batch and stream data processing pipelines, and backend services. • Build, maintain, and iterate on code quickly and safely. • Mentor other engineers and contribute to the direction of the team. • 5+ years of experience with backend and frontend frameworks and technologies. • Worked on sufficiently complex distributed systems that required balancing building in-house and integrating off-the shelf services. • Experience with relational databases and working with large-scale databases. • A passion for writing clean, simple, and self-documenting code. • You may also have: • You may also have: • Experience with data systems or machine learning. • Experience or interest in financial services, accounting, and/or self-employment. • Experience as a tech lead or an architect. • Experience driving initiatives across an organization or a company. • Experience building fault-tolerant systems. • Experience working on a financial risk team. • Experience working with Data Scientists. • Comfortable running your own data analysis in SQL / R / Python.
Benefits
• The anticipated salary range for this role is $209,000 - $241,000 (USD or CAD). The salary range listed represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position across all locations in the corresponding country. Within the range, individual pay is determined by several factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
