Requirements

Strong computer science fundamentals
Leadership experience in software development & strong leadership skills for a team of engineers
Experience leading key projects and mitigating risks proactively
Small to medium sized company environment (implied by the need for hands-on, entrepreneurial work)
Familiarity with Javascript/Typescript and JS frameworks/libraries such as Angular, React or Vue
Experience with backend development using Ruby/Rails, Node.js, or similar technologies
Strong understanding of full-stack architecture, APIs, and data flow between frontend and backend systems
Ability to work in a geographically distributed team environment (implied by the need for hands-on leadership)
Experience with pair programming sessions as part of mentorship activities
Participation in daily stand-ups/retrospectives, indicating an expectation for regular communication and collaboration within teams
Cross-functional collaboration skills including working with product management and PMO (Project Management Office)

Lead one of our engineering teams as an entrepreneurial & hands-on engineering lead.
Serve as a technical expert and nurture top engineering talent within the team.
Develop and maintain a roadmap for your team in collaboration with product management to drive innovation.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using Javascript/Typescript and familiarity with JS frameworks/libraries (Angular, React or Vue).
Have experience with backend development technologies such as Ruby/Rails, Node.js, etc., and understand full-stack architecture, APIs, and data flow between frontend and backend systems.
Lead pair programming sessions to provide mentorship to junior team members.
Drive design or architectural tasks within the engineering projects.
Participate in daily stands and weekly retrospectives with your team for continuous improvement.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Management (PM) and Project Management Office (PMO).
Execute work consistently, rapidly, and effectively to take ideas from concept to production while ensuring scalability.
Maintain high availability of products and respond quickly to any incidents in the production environment.
Represent your team's interests and product line during cross-functional discussions with other departments or stakeholders.
