Responsibilities
• Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions for autonomous robotic inspection intelligence. • Work on complex technical problems to build new capabilities and improve existing ones across various platforms and languages, including edge devices and cloud architecture. • Shape the technology roadmap guiding long-term strategy ensuring robustness, reliability, and readiness for impact in industrial plant automation within renewable energy, process, and utility sectors using ANYmal robots with camera-based sensing and LIDAR obstacle avoidance capabilities. • Build a scalable data collection infrastructure to collect quality inspection data from mobile robotic systems deployed across various industries for machine learning model development and evaluation. • Design and build ML evaluations framework, deploy models to production, benchmark latency performance of the solutions developed by ANYmal robots in industrial settings. • Conduct experiments, analyze results, suggest improvements based on findings related to autonomous robotic inspections using machine learning techniques for enhanced decision making within project scope and deadlines set forth by Solutions team at ANYbotics. • Analyze codebase of software solutions developed in the role with a focus on optimizing quality, efficiency, and performance without compromising robustness required to handle complex industrial inspection tasks using autonomous robots like ANYmal. • Lead technical efforts for product development within scope related to mobile robotics automation projects at ANYbotics while providing guidance to peers in the Solutions team on best practices regarding software and hardware integration of solutions developed by ANYmal robots across various industries including energy, process plants, utility sectors. • Architect efficient ML systems that drive complex applications for industrial inspections using autonomous mobile robotic platforms like ANYmal to ensure scalability in diverse environments with varying complexity levels within the scope defined by project priorities and deadlines set forth by Solutions team at ANYbotics. • Identify, analyze, and resolve performance issues related to software solutions developed for industrial inspections using autonomous mobile robotic platforms like ANYmal ensuring robustness in complex environments across various industries including energy, process plants, utility sectors within scope defined by project priorities set forth by Solutions team at ANYbotics. • Collaborate with Product Management and UX to translate product requirements into user-centric solutions for industrial inspections using autonomous mobile robotic platforms like ANYmal ensuring alignment of technical capabilities developed in the role within scope defined by project priorities set forth by Solutions team at ANYbotics. • Partner with cross-functional engineering teams to build and deliver seamless end-to-end solutions for industrial inspections using autonomous mobile robotic platforms
