Responsibilities

• Own and drive impact across our product and the open source Argo ecosystem. • Maintain and evolve Argo Workflows and Argo Events, managing both PRs and major architectural decisions. • Build and shape our enterprise product with a premium developer experience at its core. • Turn ideas into features: Help shape our roadmap, identify user pain points, and ship critical features. • Engage with the community: Talk to customers, collaborate with OSS contributors, and be part of an on-call rotation (mostly during working hours). • Speak at conferences like KubeCon and ArgoCon, and help expand our voice across the cloud-native world. • What Makes You a Great Fit • We're looking for T-shaped engineers: deep in one area, ideally distributed systems, and broad across many. • Strong programming skills in a statically typed language, such as Go, Java, Rust, or C++ • Solid understanding of Kubernetes • You’re a self-starter who can take a rough idea and drive it to completion • Passion for building production-grade systems and working cross-functionally • Excellent written communication, whether GitHub comments, docs, or blog posts • Customer-first mindset, with a focus on delivering real value • Experience with Go microservices, TypeScript/React, or Python • Experience managing cloud services, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP • OSS maintenance experience, contributing code, and engaging with the community • You balance shipping fast with maintaining code quality.
