Requirements
• Understand product values and feature details to translate them into precise data requirements. • Prioritize the product-related data requests backlog to align with product strategic objectives. • Address gaps in our data ecosystem by defining tracking specifications and ensuring successful implementation and launch. • Comprehend the meaning of data and clearly explain its context and significance to the data team for effective analysis. • Initiate data insight projects with the data team for internal sharing and continuous product improvement. • 3+ years of experience in data, analytics, or a related role • Experience defining data tracking / event specs and coordinating with engineering or data teams • Comfortable defining data requirements, and able to structure dashboards and metrics based on product or business needs • Familiar with trading products and workflows (e.g. stocks, futures, or crypto), with enough hands-on exposure to understand user behavior and data needs • Able to communicate clearly with product, engineering, and data teams • Experience in the blockchain or financial technology industry. • Background in data analysis or data science.
Responsibilities
• Develop and manage product roadmaps for the Data Product Lineup within BTSE's portfolio. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer needs and translate them into actionable insights that drive data strategy. • Oversee a team of analysts, designers, developers, and other professionals working on the Data Product Lineup within BTSE's portfolio. • Monitor market trends and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for new products or enhancements to existing ones. • Work with senior management to align product development goals with business objectives and prioritize initiatives based on strategic importance. • Ensure that all data collection, processing, storage, security measures comply with relevant laws, regulations, standards, policies, and best practices in the industry. • Communicate regularly with stakeholders to keep them informed about product development progress, challenges, opportunities, and potential impact on business outcomes. • Participate actively in brainstorming sessions, workshops, meetings, presentations, demos, or other events related to the Data Product Lineup within BTSE's portfolio. • Provide technical guidance and support for team members working on data collection, processing, analysis, visualization, reporting, dashboard development, user interface design, testing, deployment, maintenance, troubleshooting, optimization, scaling, or other aspects of the Data Product Lineup within BTSE's portfolio. • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and best practices in data science, analytics, machine learning, artificial intelligence (AI), natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, deep learning, robotic process automation (RPA), or other relevant fields that can enhance the Data Product Lineup within BTSE's portfolio. • Continuously seek feedback from customers, users, partners, vendors, suppliers, regulators, auditors, investors, analysts, media outlets, industry associations, professional networks, or other relevant stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and innovation in the Data Product Lineup within BTSE's portfolio. • Develop a comprehensive understanding of customer needs, preferences, pain points, expectations, feedback mechanisms, usage patterns, behavioral insights, demographic profiles, psychographics, or other relevant data to inform product development decisions and prioritize initiatives that deliver the most value for customers and business outcomes. • Establish clear roles and responsibilities within cross-functional teams working on the Data Product Lineup within BTSE's portfolio, including defining project scopes, timelines, budgets, resources, dependencies, risks, or other relevant parameters to ensure successful execution of initiatives aligned with business
