Requirements
• Strong software development background with experience as a QA Engineer in full-time roles for at least 3 years. Experience preferably within high-growth startups is desirable but not mandatory. • Excellent product instincts to quickly adapt and advocate effectively for end users, understanding new products easily. • Strong writing and communication skills required to explain complex ideas clearly across various audiences including non-technical individuals. • Demonstrated excellent problem-solving abilities with resourcefulness in figuring things out without much direction. • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams when necessary. • Must be comfortable working quickly, adapting to changing priorities, multitasking while also being able to manage multiple hats (different roles or responsibilities). • Capability to identify, document, and prioritize bugs efficiently from discovery through resolution process. • Commuting within Los Angeles, San Francisco, or Seattle hubs is required for team members in this role.
Responsibilities
• Test software independently and as part of a team. • Own bugs from discovery through resolution. • Communicate effectively with various audiences about testing processes and findings. • Identify, document, and prioritize bugs for the cross-functional teams to address them efficiently.
