Requirements
• Migrate data and analytics workloads from BigQuery to Snowflake • Support GCP to AWS data platform migration • Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and SQL • Build analytics-ready datasets for reporting and dashboards • Support BI tools such as Looker, Amazon QuickSight, or Tableau • Ensure data quality, performance, and reliability • Collaborate with data architects, analytics, and DevOps teams • 3–5 years of experience as a Data Engineer • Strong SQL skills (complex queries, optimization) • Strong Python experience for data processing • Experience with Snowflake • Experience with BigQuery • Cloud experience on GCP and/or AWS • Experience supporting BI tools (Looker, QuickSight, Tableau) • Experience with data migration projects • Knowledge of dbt, Airflow, or similar orchestration tools • Experience in multi-cloud environments • Familiarity with data modeling and analytics use cases
Responsibilities
• To design and implement scalable solutions for big data processing on AWS/Snowflake platforms using ETL processes to transform raw data into meaningful information. • To develop efficient algorithms that optimize query performance within the Snowflake environment, ensuring high availability of services with minimal latency impacts during peak loads. • To collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering and product management for seamless integration of new data solutions into existing systems without disrupting business operations. • To monitor system performance continuously using built-in tools, identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies within the AWS/Snowflake infrastructure, and propose improvements to optimize resource utilization effectively. • To maintain comprehensive documentation of data pipelines, processes, and architectures for future reference and onboarding new team members into projects with ease.
