• Start with the customer and the right problem: Use research, feedback, behavioral data, and competitive insights to understand customer needs, challenge assumptions, and define what’s worth solving, balancing customer, business, and technical constraints. • Start with the customer and the right problem: • Deliver exceptional craft: Create intuitive, polished experiences with strong interaction design, information architecture, and accessibility, grounded in Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines and native iOS patterns, along with desktop and mobile web interfaces. • Deliver exceptional craft: • Prototype with motion and AI: Go beyond static mockups with high-fidelity, interactive prototypes using tools including, but not limited to Lottielab, Jitter, and ProtoPie. Use AI tools like Claude and Cursor to explore ideas and bridge design and engineering, applying strong judgment to AI-generated output. • Prototype with motion and AI: • Design for cohesion and scale: Keep experiences consistent across the customer journey, and contribute to the design system (components, interaction patterns, motion principles) rather than creating one-off solutions. • Design for cohesion and scale: • Drive measurable impact with partners: Work with Product, Engineering, Research, and Analytics to define success, build alignment through evidence-based storytelling, and iterate based on experiments, feedback, and performance. • Drive measurable impact with partners: • Raise the bar for the team: Participate in critiques, share knowledge, and contribute to a culture of high standards, curiosity, and collaboration. • Raise the bar for the team: • 5-8+ years designing digital products across responsive web and native mobile, with strong hands-on iOS experience and familiarity with Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines, native navigation patterns, and gestures. • Exceptional UX, interaction, and visual design skills, with a strong grasp of information architecture, usability, accessibility, and modern design patterns. • Strong motion and interaction design experience, including animation, microinteractions, and high-fidelity prototyping, using tools like Figma, Lottielab, Jitter, or ProtoPie. • Advanced Figma proficiency, including prototyping, component-based design, and design systems. • Strong product thinking, the ability to turn customer insights, business goals, and technical considerations into thoughtful solutions, with experience conducting or partnering on research, usability testing, and experimentation. • Experience using AI tools like Claude or Cursor for design exploration, rapid prototyping, or faster product workflows. • Independent leadership, comfortable navigating ambiguity, identifying opportunities, and moving projects forward with minimal direction. • Strong communication and collaboration skills: able to articulate design decisions, influence stakeholders, and partner closely with Product, Engineering, Research, and Analytics. • A portfolio showing the full story, problem-solving, exploration, rationale, iteration, and measurable impact, ideally including interactive prototypes or motion work. • A growth mindset, attention to detail, openness to feedback, and a desire to elevate both your own work and your teammates
