Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and coordinate S-1 registration statements for IPO readiness, working closely with legal counsel, underwriting teams and auditors • Lead all SEC reporting activities including preparation and filing of 10-K, 10-Q, and other required SEC documents • Serve as the primary technical accounting expert for complex transactions including stock-based compensation (ASC 718), lease accounting (ASC 842), and other specialized accounting areas • Partner cross-functionally on special projects including M&A accounting, system implementations, and process improvements • Develop and maintain comprehensive accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls at an enterprise level • Partner with external auditors and coordinate audit processes, ensuring alignment with company strategy • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess accounting treatment for new initiatives • Set department strategy and vision for SEC reporting and technical accounting functions • Drive continuous improvement of our accounting infrastructure and reporting capabilities • You may be a good fit if you: • Have a background in public accounting (Big 4 preferred) and an active CPA license or equivalent • Have 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public company experience at a senior level • Possess deep expertise in US GAAP and SEC rules and regulations • Have extensive hands-on experience with SEC reporting tools (Workiva, DFIN ActiveDisclosure, or similar) • Have proven experience in technical accounting research and complex transaction analysis • Have experience building accounting processes in a fast-paced technology environment, preferably at an AI company • Have strong executive presence and leadership skills • Take a proactive, solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving
