Addepar - Software Engineer - Framework Integration and Tooling

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in the industry. • Prior experience as a Software Engineer in a professional environment. • Familiarity with some of the technologies we use: • HTTP, REST and web API best practices. • Java, Python, AWS, Spark, Databricks • Able to work from the Edinburgh office for a minimum of 2 days per week. • Ability to write high-quality, object-oriented code. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Demonstrable knowledge of development best practices and experience working in an agile team. • Ability to explore complex problem spaces objectively from multiple points of view. • Ability to learn new things quickly. • Linux proficiency, basic shell scripting and a solid grasp of systems level programming. • [Bonus[ Specific experience in or knowledge of financial data systems. • Our Values • Act Like an Owner - Think and operate with intention, purpose and care.
