Cortica - Neurodevelopmental - School-Based ABA Behavioral Technician
Responsibilities
• Provide direct implementation of holistic, neurodiversity-affirming behavior analytic services to students in one-on-one and group settings within schools. • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and skill acquisition programs, aligning with the student’s IEP and school goals. • Work closely with school teams to integrate behavioral strategies into the daily classroom routine and support students’ engagement and learning. • Support student development in communication, social skills, self-regulation, and self-care (e.g., toileting, hygiene, dressing) as appropriate to the school context. • Utilize a strengths-based treatment approach developed in collaboration with the educational team. • Collect data consistently on student progress and behaviors during each session and complete timely documentation, including session notes and incident reports. • Participate in classroom observations, team meetings, and school-based training sessions as assigned. • Implement proactive behavior support strategies and follow school safety and crisis protocols, including de-escalation and mandated reporting procedures. • Travel between assigned work sites, as needed, within the designated service area. • We’d love to hear from you if: • You have at least one year of work experience in ABA / Behavior Technician roles • You hold a high school diploma or equivalent. • You can maintain reliable transportation and must be able to travel between work locations. • You have a first aid/CPR certification or ability to obtain.
