Reddit - Senior Business Engineer
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience. • 5+ years of software development experience, with a strong track record of owning end-to-end technical projects, including cross-org coordination. • Hands-on coding expertise in one or more modern programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, Node.js), with a focus on backend or API development. • Proven ability to contribute directly to external integrations and prototype in partner environments. • Strong understanding of REST APIs, HTTP, OAuth2 / OpenID Connect, and modern SDK patterns. • Effective communicator with experience presenting complex technical and business ideas to both internal leadership and external stakeholders. • Deep understanding of the AdTech ecosystem and how Reddit’s platform aligns with industry trends and standards. • Contributions to developer experience through tooling, documentation, or ecosystem standards. • Track record of influencing product roadmaps and getting involved in release, launch and product adoption activities in collaboration with sales, product, and engineering. • Ads Industry experience & Ads Partnerships experience
Responsibilities
• Lead onboarding, testing, and pre-launch support to ensure a smooth and successful implementation experience. • Support escalations for complex or high-impact integrations and provide clear, actionable direction to resolve blockers quickly and sustainably.
