Spotify - Senior Full Stack Engineer

• You are an experienced Full Stack Engineer with 5+ years of professional experience • You have experience building and maintaining APIs and services at scale. • You have strong experience with Java and Spring • You have strong experience with JavaScript. Additional experience with tools and technologies such as ReactJS, NodeJS, NextJS, and GraphQL are a plus. • You have some experience with data engineering concepts and tools (e.g., Scala, large-scale data pipelines). • You have experience with GCP, distributed systems, machine learning platforms, or generative AI integrations • You have a strong grasp of design patterns, data structures, and distributed and web architectures. • You care deeply about observability, reliability, and quality, and you apply engineering best practices including testing automation. • You have experience leading or contributing to large codebase refactors, including microservices or micro-frontend architectures. • You are autonomous, take ownership of your work, and actively drive your personal growth. • You value team success over personal success and enjoy uplifting and mentoring other engineers. • You are a strong communicator and empathetic collaborator who can anticipate partner needs and work effectively across disciplines. • Where You'll Be • We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! For this role, it can be within the North America region in which we have a work location. • This team collaborates across the Eastern Standard time zone, Pacific Standard time zone, and Australian Eastern time zone. • The United States base range for this position is $164,448.00 - $234,926.00 plus equity. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, monthly meal allowance, 23 paid days off, 13 paid flexible holidays. This range encompasses multiple levels. Leveling is determined during the interview process. Placement in a level depends on relevant work history and interview performance.
