Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain backend systems for CAD automation processes in a 3D engineering environment. • Optimize system performance to handle large datasets efficiently within the constraints of hardware resources available on our servers. • Collaborate with frontend engineers, design teams, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration between backend systems and user interfaces/frontends. • Implement security measures for data protection in compliance with industry standards such as ISO 27001 or similar frameworks relevant to the company's operations. • Monitor system health using tools like Nagios, Zabbix, etc., ensuring uptime and reliability of backend services that support CAD automation workflows. • Troubleshoot issues related to hardware failures (e.g., hard drives) or software bugs within the 3D data processing pipeline by working with IT staff when necessary. • Contribute to code reviews, pull requests and maintain a high standard of coding practices for backend development projects in CAD automation systems.
