Requirements
• 6+ years of relevant work experience in Solutions Architecture, Database Engineering, or similar. • Strong background with relational database management systems such as PostgreSQL or MySQL. • Background in web application development, with familiarity with Python, C# and popular JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, Svelte) as well as Node.js. • Very strong communication skills, particularly of technical concepts. CSA’s at Supabase spend a significant amount of time translating business needs to technical outcomes, and technical concepts to organizational impact. • Well-organized and effective storyteller with meaningful interpersonal skills. CSA’s often have to navigate multiple stakeholders with conflicting opinions, and the ability to effectively mediate this type of conflict is crucial. • Experience with project management, business analysis and revenue operations tools. We use HubSpot, BigQuery etc., and familiarity with these platforms will help enable your success. • Previous experience leading customer-facing engagements to deliver meaningful technical and business value.
Responsibilities
• Uncover and understand business and technical requirements for Supabase platform adoption. • Design and architect technical solutions built on the Supabase platform to meet customer needs. • Lead proof-of-value implementations with customers directly to demonstrate the value of the Supabase platform, setting timelines, outcomes, and success criteria. • Provide regular engagements for complex questions regarding adoption and performance optimization. • Work closely as an extension of our team toward common customer success goals while advocating on behalf of the customer within Supabase. • Lead pre-sales discovery to uncover business objectives, set expectations about what can be achieved with Supabase, and define criteria for successful adoption. • Design, build, and present platform demonstrations using quality storytelling techniques to showcase value propositions of the Supabase Success team. • Collaborate directly with Growth team members on sizing deals, providing usage estimates, and identifying potential workloads supported by the Platform for high-value customers. • Guide new customers through an onboarding journey using various communication methods such as emails, docs, guides, and webinars to promote rapid deployment and growth on Supabase platform. • Understand immediate custom goals related to customer onboarding and adoption along with long-term opportunities like optimization & identifying new workloads for high-value customers. • Deliver synchronous and asynchronous engagements including application architecture assessments, database design and performance optimizations, proactive support enabling confident scaling of Supabase platform by the customers.
