• Support the monthly financial consolidation: prepare and reconcile inputs and check that figures tie out. • Review and approve expense requests against policy and budget, flagging anomalies and following up with requesters. • Track actuals against budget, keep reporting up to date and highlight variances to the team. • Run cost analyses and deep dives on specific spend areas, turning the numbers into clear findings and recommendations. • Take a special focus on HR controlling (headcount, payroll and people-related costs) and software spend (licences, subscriptions and vendor costs). • Control credit card expenses • Help improve controlling processes along the way.
