Requirements
• 3+ years designing modern digital products with a strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end web design work and process • Proven track record designing 0-to-1 experiences from concept through launch • Collaborates effectively with product and engineering teams in agile settings, clearly articulating design rationale and assessing technical feasibility to simplify where needed • Shows strong judgment making data-driven decisions grounded in research, testing, and metrics—comfortable prioritizing and making tradeoffs without waiting for absolute certainty • Thrives as part of a founding team—scrappy, resourceful, passionate about solving real customer problems, and has no ego when it comes to being wrong or changing direction • Bonus: Experience with AI tooling such as Figma Make, Lovable and Cursor for rapid prototyping
Responsibilities
• Design end-to-end web experiences, owning the full process from concept through launch. • Conduct customer interviews and usability tests to validate designs based on qualitative feedback and quantitative data analysis. • Collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to define problems, explore solutions, and ship features. • Create simple, logical experiences that make complex workflows feel effortless while balancing customer needs with business goals and technical constraints. • Lead design reviews with external partners and build strong cases for design decisions. • Experience working effectively in agile settings articulating the rationale behind designs and assessing their feasibility to simplify where needed. • Make data-driven decisions grounded in research, testing, and metrics while being comfortable prioritizing and making tradeoffs without waiting for absolute certainty. • Thrive as part of a founding team—scrappy, resourceful, passionate about solving real customer problems, with no ego when it comes to being wrong or changing direction.
Benefits
• Sr Product designer (L5 - Canada)The yearly total compensation for this position ranges from 200 000$ to 250 000$ CAD. Base salary will be determined by candidates' relevant qualifications, knowledge, skills and work experience. Total compensation will include a solid base salary and will also include equity (options), potentially a sign-on bonus and other potential incentives as per the "perks and benefits" section.
